A US Navy Seal accused of war crimes has been released by a military court ahead of his trial.
Navy Special Operations Chief Edward Gallagher, 39, is charges with stabbing a teenage Islamic State fighter to death charged and indiscriminately shooting Iraqi civilians on his eighth combat tour.
US President Donald Trump is reportedly mulling a pardon for Chief Gallagher.
