ISLAMABAD: The Joint Investigation Team probing the Panama Papers case on directions of the Supreme Court of Pakistan grilled the Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif's younger son Hasan Nawaz.
Hassan Nawaz today appeared before the Joint Investigation Team probing the offshore properties of the ruling family in the light of Supreme Court orders in Panama Papers case.
Hassan Nawaz was interrogated for seven hours in the Federal Judicial Academy after which he left the venue without talking to the media.
A large number of Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz workers were present outside the Judicial Academy and chanted slogans as Hassan Nawaz came out of his car and waved to the crowd.
Sources said Hassan — a UK-based businessman— recently arrived in Pakistan from London after receiving summons from the JIT. He also brought record sought by the investigators along with him.
Meanwhile, Hussain Nawaz has been asked to appear again on June 03 for the fourth time.
