Sindh CM terms NEC meeting unconstitutional

KARACHI: While expressing his concerns over the meeting of National Economic Council, Chief Minister Sindh Syed Qaim Ali Shah termed NEC meeting unconstitutional.

While addressing a press briefing here at today in Karachi, CM Qaim Ali Shah said that National Economic Council meeting did not have any constitutional importance.

He expressed his anger over the behavior of federal government saying that federation is not serious to resolve the issues of provinces.

Syed Qaim Ali Shah added that Finance Minister Ishaq Dar had been asked by him to attend the meeting but he did not reply properly and said that he would establish contact on telephone.

Sindh CM alleged that federal government is making fun of provincial government as water schemes in Karachi had been abolished without any reason.

He demanded to provide funds according to NFC commission. Speaking at the occasion, Sindh Finance Minister Murad Ali Shah said that Sindh has been facing injustices for last three years.
