Saudi Arabia sentenced 14 terrorist to death in Shiite area

RIYADH: Saudi authorities sentenced 14 people to death on the charges of terrorism in the Shiite area of Qatif in Eastern province.
Saudi authorities claimed that these 14 were among the 24 accused who spread unrest and killed security personnel in the area of eastern province while the nine others were jailed upto 15 years and the remaining one acquitted.
Saudi Arabia also sentenced Shhite cleric Nimr al-Nimr few months ago that caused Shiite-Sunni conflict in the state.
