Guterres in Bangladesh to stress int'l community to do more for Rohingyan crisis

UNITED NATIONS: U.N. Secretary-General Antonio Guterres arrived in Bangladaesh today to assess the sufferings of Rohingya refugees and progress toward their safe return to Myanmar.

According to announcement from U.N. headquarters in New York, Guterres would highlight the need for international community to do more.

It said that U.N. Secretary-General in a joint visit with World Bank President Jim Yong Kim will visit the Rohingya refugees camps and aid workers at the Cox's Bazar tomorrow.

In Cox's Bazar, the two chiefs will review the entire situation of the newly arrived Rohingyas since August, 2017.
