Pakistan fully capable to defend its motherland: Pakistan Defence Minister
ISLAMABAD: Minister for Defence Engineer Khurram Dastagir Khan on Monday said Pakistan was fully capable of defending its motherland.
The jawans of Pakistan Armed forces and civilians had given sacrifices of their lives in war against terrorism, he said talking to a private news channel.
Commenting on US President's tweet about aid, he said Pakistan had extended unprecedented cooperation to US for
defeating Al-Qaeda in Afghanistan besides fighting war against terrorism. Pakistan did not have any safe haven for terrorists, he added.
The terrorists from the soil of Afghanistan had targeted our armed forces and civilians due to which Pakistan
had to suffer a lot, he said.
He made it clear that Afghanistan's war would not be fought from the soil of Pakistan.
To a question, he said Pakistan had started fencing to secure its border.
Khurram Dastagir said Pakistan had to face huge economic losses due to fighting war against terrorism.
