Negotiations between Syrian government and opposition to start today



GENEVA: UN has announced to start peace talks between Syrian Government and the opposition.


Meanwhile hilly countryside near Aleppo was captured by Government troops with Russian air support which was a supply route to opposition forces.

 

Opposition claims that they will not participate until bombing is not stopped and their prisoners are not freed.

 

UN urged world powers to play their role for ceasefire.

 

UN envoy met with opposition and convinced them to join peace talks at UN headquarters.

 

More than 300,000 people have been killed in 5 year of civil war and half of the population has left their homes.
