NA Foreign Affairs committee recommends government not to back armed struggle in Kashmir

ISLAMABAD: NA Standing Committee on Foreign Affairs said in its recommendations to make every possible efforts to start comprehensive dialogues with India. Both countries should establish strong bilateral ties to resolve the issues of water, trade and Kashmir dispute.
As per details, the meeting of NA Standing Committee on Foreign Affairs was held under the chairmanship of Sardar Awais Lgari. While discussing about Kashmir cause the committee said that Pakistan will continue its moral and diplomatic support for the self-determination of Kashmiris as per UN resolutions.
The issue of Kashmir will be raised at every international forum by Pakistan. However, action should be taken against violent and armed groups in Kashmir to dispel international concerns regarding the involvement of Pakistan in violent attacks in Kashmir.
The committee recommended the government Pakistan should not encourage calls for active support of armed, banned and militants groups in Kashmir. The Committee also recommended government to impose strict border control mechanism.
