Adiala jail spacious enough to accommodate PM: Supreme Court of Pakistan

ISLAMABAD: Supreme Court expressed its displeasure over the violation of court orders and warned in its remarks to send PM Nawaz to Adiala jail if the court orders were not implemented.
As per details, Supreme Court heard the case of Omer Farooq, an officer in custom department regarding the contempt of court against secretary establishment. SC expressed its displeasure over the absence of Secretary Establishment.
The counsellor of Establishment Division told the court that Establishment Division has completed its work and now it is being delayed by PM Nawaz for implementation of court orders.
While giving his remarks on this occasion, Justice Azmat Saeed said that if PM Nawaz is the hurdle in the implementation of court order then court will summon PM Nawaz.
SC was assured by Attorney General that all the benefits of relevant officer will be restored within 48 hours as per court orders. SC adjourned the hearing for 2 days.
