PTI government launches yet another initiative for the overseas Pakistanis

According to reports, Land Record Centers have been set up at Pakistani embassies and consulates at various destinations across the world.
DG Punjab Land Records Authority (PLRA), in collaboration with the Ministry of External Affairs, has initially set up Land Record Centers at Pakistani embassies and consulates in four countries including the United States, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, and the United Kingdom. ------------------------------

According to a Punjab Land Records Authority report, ownership records and rural landscape data has been computerized. This function provides data access to more than 55.5 million owners, and all services and private information have been digitally secured. Limited access to land records data has also been provided to commercial banks to facilitate overseas Pakistanis.
