Gilani urges Kashmiris to boycott upcoming sham polls

In Occupied Kashmir, Chairman All Parties Hurriyat Conference (APHC) Syed Ali Gilani has urged the people to completely boycott the forthcoming Indian Parliamentary elections in the territory.

In a statement in Srinagar, he said democracy in occupied territory has lost its values and that is why every cunning, corrupt and mean person tries to escape from any accountability or criticism.

The APHC Chairman said people are threatened and caged in fictitious and false cases, but such maneuvering can never cow down the freedom loving Kashmiris.

Meanwhile, thousands of people participated in the funeral prayers of four youth martyred by Indian troops in Lassipora area of Pulwama district yesterday.

The funerals of the youth were offered amid high pitched pro-freedom, pro-Pakistan and anti-India slogans. Pakistani flags were also raised during the funerals.
