Afghanistan: Taliban attack kills 8 security personnel

KABUL:In Afghanistan, at least eight security personnel have been killed and four others injured in a Taliban attack in Sholgara district of Balkh province.
According to police official, the incident occurred in Shaikh Ali village when the security forces were patrolling the area.
Meanwhile, Afghan forces have retaken Arghanj Khwa district in Badakhshan from Taliban militants in clearance operation.
In a statement, spokesman of Afghan Ministry of Interior said fourteen Taliban were killed and seven others injured during operation.
