KARACHI – Pakistan has won the toss and decided to bat first in the second T20 against West Indies.

Pakistan will look to continue their dominance over West Indies when the two sides face off in the second T20I at the National Stadium on Monday.

The match is slated to start at 7:30pm. Pakistan team is expected to remain unchanged. West Indies have been dealt another blow, with their bowler Veerasammy Permaul ruled out of the remaining games after suffering an ankle injury during the opening match.

In the first T20I on Sunday, Pakistan thrashed the West Indies by 143 runs to record the joint-highest score in the shortest format of the game, with the previous best also being 203-5 against Bangladesh in 2008, also in Karachi.

West Indies is the first international team to visit Karachi since the attack on Sri Lankan cricket team in 2009.

The first T20I match will be played between Pakistan and West Indies on April 1, second on 2 and third on April 3 respectively.

Pakistan vs West Indies 1st T20I will be played at National Stadium in Karachi. All the three matches in the series will be played in the same stadium.
