ISLAMABAD - Pakistan all-rounder, Mohammad Hafeez, has become the first all-rounder to score 2,000 runs and take 50 wickets in T20I cricket.

Hafeez registered his name in the record books with a blistering knock of 69 runs from 36 balls. His innings included 5 fours and 4 sixes.

Hafeez also joined a handful of cricketers who have scored more than 2000 runs in the shortest format. Indian captain, Virat Kohli, leads the list with 2794 runs in 76 innings. ------------------------------

Shoaib Malik is the 4th leading run-scorer in the format with 2335 runs from 106 innings.

Mohammad Hafeez has claimed 54 wickets at an average of 22.70 and an economy rate of 6.58.

Hafeez’s blitz helped Pakistan post a big total of 195/4, however, the knock came in a losing cause as England chased down the target with 5 wickets in hand. Eoin Morgan was adjudged the man of the match for his match-winning innings of 66 from 33 balls.
