PM Imran Khan held telephonic conversation with French President after twice rejecting his call

ISLAMABAD – Prime Minister Imran Khan held telephonic conversation with French President Emmanuel Macron after twice rejecting his phone call.
As the world leaders continue to felicitate Imran Khan on his party’s thumping victory in general elections and assuming office of the Prime Minister of Pakistan, French President Emmanuel Macron telephoned but the premier turned his phone calls twice during his meeting with senior journalists.
When Foreign Secretary Tehmina Janjua asked Khan to take the call, he said he was busy.
Journalist and author Hamid Mir, who was present in the meeting, tweeted: "French President Emmanuel Macron called Prime Minister Imran Khan today, but he was busy in a meeting with journalists including me..."
