QUETTA – Justice Syeda Tahira Safdar took the oath as the first ever woman Chief Justice of Balochistan High Court (BHC) on Saturday.

Governor Balochistan Muhammad Khan Achakzai administered oath to her in a ceremony held at Governor’s House.

The ceremony was attended by the outgoing Balochistan High Court Chief Justice Muhammad Noor Miskanzai, other judges, high ranking officials, lawyers and elites of the city.
