SRINAGAR: Iram Habib from the Indian occupied Kashmir has created history.
She has become the first Muslim woman from Indian occupied Kashmir (Iok) to become a pilot.
Habib is the second female pilot after Tanvi Raina who was also from occupied Kashmir.
She will work as a commercial pilot for a private airline, reports Times of India. link
The 30-year-old gave up her doctorate degree in forestry to fulfill her dreams.
Furthermore, Habib said that her basic pilot training was completed in US and she is currently studying in Delhi, India in order to get her commercial pilot license.
