PCB angered at star all rounder Shahid Afridi

LAHORE (Dunya News) – Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is angered with star all-rounder Shahid Afridi after he announced his involvement in the Afghan T20 league, reported Dunya News.

PCB had barred players from taking part in the Afghan T20 league which is scheduled from September 11 to 22. This policy came after relations had tensed between Afghan Cricket Board (ACB) and PCB. PCB believes that the star all rounder shouldn’t have given such a statement. Earlier, PCB had barred other retired players such as former captain Misbah-ul-Haq and all-rounder Abdul Razzaq from taking part in the league.

The Afghan T20 League schedule also coincides with the World XI tour of Pakistan from September 12 to 15. PCB had organized a farewell ceremony for Shahid Afridi, Misbah ul Haq and Younis Khan on September 14 in Lahore.
