ISLAMABAD - PTI government decides to impose 'Cleanliness Tax' on every House in Islamabad.
A principle decision has been made to impose a cleanliness tax on every house in the federal capital.
Mayor Islamabad Sheikh Ansar Aziz has decided that a cleanliness tax will be levied on every house in the federal capital Islamabad. The government has directed the municipal corporation to bear the cost of cleaning itself.
A meeting of the Metropolitan Corporation Islamabad was held in which the Sanitation Directorate sought proposals to impose cleanup tax on all houses.
A sub-committee was also formed at the municipal corporation meeting. The committee will prepare recommendations and submit a report within a week.
