Pakistan Navy to get firepower boost with two new state of the art Warships

BEIJING - The steel cutting ceremony of two Type 054 A/P Frigates, being built for the Pakistan Navy, was held at Hudong Zhonghua Shipyard China on Friday.

According to a tweet posted by the Navy’s spokesperson, the ceremony was attended by Navy Commodore Azfar Humayun and President of China Shipbuilding Trading Company (CSTC).

“These Warships will strengthen PN’s [Pakistan Navy] capability to maintain peace & [and] stability in the IOR,” the spokesperson said in a tweet.

On the occasion, Commodore Azfar Humayun commended the new chapter of Pakistan-China friendship and also praised the work of CSTC.
