Federal government takes important decision over dealing with protests across country
*ISLAMABAD: The government has taken an important decision over dealing with the protests erupted across country after the verdict of Aasia Bibi blasphemy case. *
*Government has decided to deal the current political crisis, arising out of Asia Bibi’s acquittal in blasphemy case, in a peaceful manner.*
Premier, during the Federal Cabinet meeting, issued instructions to governors of all four provinces and party leaders to be prepared for their role to resolve the matter harmoniously.
He also directed ministers to expedite contacts with religious leaders for earliest resolution of the matter.
‘We cannot allow anyone to do politics on sensitive issues,” the PM told the meeting.
He called upon his party leaders to also take into confidence other parliamentary leaders to maintain peace across the country.
