Iran's stance in recent Pakistan escalation against India lauded

ISLAMABAD - Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif on Wednesday urged Islamabad and New Delhi to show self-restraint following the escalation of tensions between the two states.
Zarif made the remarks in a phone conversation with his Pakistani counterpart Mehmood Qureshi.
The Iranian foreign minister said that Iran is ready to help achieving a peaceful resolution of dispute between Islamabad and New Delhi.
He called for dialogue between the two neighboring states.
Zarif is also scheduled to make a phone call with his Indian counterpart.
