Frustrated Indian Army vents anger at Kashmiris, martyrs two more youth in fake encounter

SRINAGAR - In occupied Kashmir, Indian troops in their fresh act of state terrorism martyred two Kashmiri youth in Handwara area of Kupwara district, today (Friday).
According to Kashmir Media Service, the troops martyred the youth during a cordon and search operation at Babagund in Langate area of Handwara. The operation continued till last reports came in.
Meanwhile, people took to the streets in the area and staged forceful demonstrations against the killing of the youth. Indian police and troops fired pellets and teargas shells to disperse the protesters, injuring several of them.
Three persons who had received pellet injuries were shifted to a health centre in Unisoo. “Three persons with pellet injuries were brought to the facility. Two with pellet injuries in their eyes were referred to district hospital Handwara,” Block Medical Officer Langate Nazir Ahmad told media.
Complete shutdown is being observed in Handwara against the killings while the occupation authorities have suspended Internet service in the area.
Meanwhile, the Chairman of Jammu and Kazhmir Muslim Conference, Shabbir Ahmed Dar, in a statement in Srinagar paid glowing tributes to the youth martyred by Indian troops in Shopian and Kupwara areas since yesterday. He said the martyrs are the real heroes of Kashmir freedom movement and Kashmiri people will accomplish their mission, despite all odds.
