Senate elections: MPAs barred from taking vote outside booth

ISLAMABAD - Election Commission has taken several decisions to ensure vote privacy during the senate elections to be held on Saturday.
The decisions were taken at a review meeting with the returning officers regarding arrangements for senate elections in Islamabad today (Wednesday).
The Commission decided that Returning Officers will ensure that no voter could expose vote's privacy and neither be allowed to take issued ballot paper outside the polling station.
The election commission has decided to handover powers of full magistrate to all the returning officers which will enable them to punish the violators of the rules and regulations.
