Russia, China veto UN resolution on Syria sanctions

Russia and China have vetoed a UN resolution to impose sanctions on Syria over the alleged use of chemical weapons.
The measure drafted by Britain, France and the United States won nine votes in favour at the Security Council while three countries opposed it China, Russia and Bolivia.
Kazakhstan, Ethiopia and Egypt abstained.
