Al Qaeda terrorists killed by CTD in Layyah

LAYYAH: Six alleged terrorists were killed here at Tuesday night in Angura Goot Farm area of Chaubara, Layyah in exchange of fire with Counter Terrorism Department Personnel while two accused managed to escape from the scene taking advantage of darkness.
As per details, CTD conducted raid on tip-off intelligence here at Chaubara Tehsil of Layya and killed six terrorists in an alleged battle with terrorists.
CTD Officials said that, terrorists started indiscriminate firing on CTD Personnel when CTD tried to arrest them while in response, CTD Personnel also opened fire and killed six terrorists in exchange of fire.
CTD Sources claimed that the slain terrorists had links with banned outfit Al-Qaeda and involved in several sabotaging acts. Huge cache of arms were also recovered from the possession of dead terrorists including automatic weapons, hand grenades, explosive material and pistols.
Dead bodies of the terrorists were shifted to District Headquarters Hospital in Layya for autopsy while search operation was started to arrest fleeing terrorists.
