KP Cabinet for the first time in history held meeting in erstwhile FATA

PESHAWAR - Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Mahmood Khan says the government is finalizing its strategy for developing the tribal districts to bring them in the national mainstream.
Presiding over a meeting of the Provincial Cabinet at Landi Kotal in Khyber District, he said a comprehensive plan has been chalked out for rehabilitation of the merged districts.
Mahmood Khan said one billion rupees will be provided to the tribal youth for starting their own businesses.
He directed the concerned administrative departments to prepare PC-Is of development projects.
The Chief Minister stressed for achieving the target of providing Sehat Insaf Cards to five hundred thousand families of tribal districts in one and a half months.
It is the first time when a meeting of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Cabinet was held in a tribal district.
