Governor Sindh directs early completion of ongoing schemes

Sindh Governor Mohammad Zubair chaired a meeting of Hyderabad Electric Supply Company and Sukkur Electric Supply Company in Karachi on Wednesday. State Minister for Water and Power Abid Sher Ali also attended the meeting.
Progress in the the schemes announced by the Prime Minister for Sindh were discussed.
Speaking on the occasion, the governor directed the officials to complete all schemes within the stipulated time. He said these schemes will provide immense relief to the people of the province.
He said the government has resolved the issue of electricity shortage.
The Governor said Sindh has ample resources for power generation and the government is not only encouraging the investment in power sector but also providing conducive environment and facilities for it.
Speaking on the occasion, the State Minister Abid Sher Ali said energy needs of the country have been fulfilled, and now load-shedding is being observed only in the areas where there are issues of recovery.
