Federal Cabinet approves extension of PM's Fee Reimbursement Scheme

The Federal Cabinet has approved the extension of Prime Minister's Fee Reimbursement Scheme for less developed areas of the country.

The Meeting of the Cabinet was held in Islamabad on Wednesday with Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi in the chair.

Chairman HEC informed the Cabinet that the Scheme would be extended to 114 districts in various parts of the country including Balochistan, Sindh, Khyber Paktunkhwa, South Punjab, FATA, Gilgit Baltistan and AJK.

The meeting also approved MoU between Chinese Academy of Sciences and Pakistan Meteorological Department to Promote Science Technology and Innovation Cooperation.

The meeting also approved the ratification of the Decisions taken by the Cabinet Committee on Energy and Economic Coordination Committee.

The Cabinet has also approved grant of 60 days extension in the Proof of Registration (POR) Cards for Afghan Refugees.
