Operation Zarb-e-Azb reduced terrorists capacity to use Pakistani soil for terrorism: US General

WASHINGTON: US Lt. General John Nicholson said that operation Zarb e Azb has reduced the ability of militants to use the country’s land for terrorist activities.
Nicholson said that operation in tribal areas of Pakistan is tough and coordination between Pakistan and Afghanistan is necessary to improve the operation.
He said that peace talks are important to end the conflict and US support it.
Nicholson stated that peace talks with Taliban were started by Afghan and now restarted by support of Pakistan, US and China.
