SC orders about fake accounts probe being violated: Khokhar

ISLAMABAD: Senator Mustafa Nawaz Khokhar urged the Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) to take notice of the media trial of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) leadership.
Senator khokhar, in a statement, said the Supreme Court (SC), in its order while forming a joint investigation team (JIT) to investigate the alleged fake accounts, had clearly directed that to ensure transparent and effective inquiry, no member of the JIT or Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) would divulge any information to the media.
However, in clear violation of the SC orders, sources were openly being quoted on various talk shows and media forums, to speculate on the ongoing inquiry and malign the PPP leadership, he alleged.
