Pakistan - Russia PMs meet: Vow to jointly work for Afghanistan peace

ISLAMABAD - Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi held a meeting with his Russian counterpart Dmitry Medvedev on the sidelines of Shanghai Cooperation Organization.Both leaders discussed bilateral relations and regional issues during the meeting.
On this occasion, they also expressed satisfaction over progress in bilateral relations and agreed to further promote cooperation in diverse fields.Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi stressed the need for multi-dimensional long-term partnership.
He said that there is a great potential of partnership in oil sector. The Prime Minister apprised his Russian counterpart about situation in occupied Kashmir.
Both leaders also agreed to continue efforts for peace and reconciliation in Afghanistan.
