Govt increases petrol price by Rs 1.48 per liter

ISLAMABAD: On the recommendation of the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (Ogra), the government on Thursday increased the petrol price by Rs 1.48 per liter.
Moreover, the kerosene oil rate has been increased by Rs 4.39 per liter. The price of light-speed diesel has been raised by Rs 3.12 per liter.
After the increase, petrol will now be available at Rs77.47 per litre, diesel at Rs85.95, light-speed diesel at Rs52.12 and kerosene oil at Rs57.58.
The new prices will be applicable from December 1.
