US announces 25% tariff on $200bn of Chinese goods

BEIJING: United States has announced to impose twenty five percent tariffs tomorrow on Chinese goods costing two hundred billion dollars.
Sources told US media that it would risk further escalating tensions between the US and China which are already mired in a trade war.
The list of six thousand items to be taxed, including food products, minerals and consumer goods such as handbags.
