MQM will have no role in Sindh govt, says Murad

ISLAMABAD: Former Chief Minister Sindh, Syed Murad Ali Shah, has ruled out the possibility of MQM’s inclusion in the future provincial government.

“For the time being, we have no such intention,” Shah said while replying to a question about inviting MQM to join the provincial cabinet.

PPP chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has announced that Syed Murad Ali Shah, who won the provincial assembly seat PS-80, will be Sindh CM for a second time.

PPP has won 74 Sindh Assembly seats, followed by 22 of the PTI and 16 of the MQM.

The PTI is in talks with the MQM to form the government in the center.
