Former AIG Sindh jailed for 10 years in corruption case

KARACHI: In Karachi, Accountability Court has convicted former Additional Inspector General Logistic Sindh Police Tanveer Hussain and imprisoned him for ten year with fine of twenty point five million rupees in a corruption case filed by National Accountability Bureau against him.

The court, announcing its decision today, released the co-accused Fida Hussain in the case.

Former AIG Tanveer Hussain had caused loss of fifty million rupees to the Police department through fake billings on account of petrol and diesel heads.
