Ch Pervaiz Elahi gets a big break through for CM Punjab slot

PTI’s estranged Cheena group has announced supporting PML-Q leader Chaudhry Parvez link Ellahi for election for the seat of Punjab chief minister.
A total of 14 members of the group have announced they will vote in favour of Ch Parvez link Elahi link.
The PML-Q leader had met the group on Thursday and the group had asked for 24 hours to reach a decision.
The group on Friday announced they will be backing the PM candidate for the post of CM
They include Ghazanfar Abbas Chheena, Amir Chheena, Inayat Shahani, Ali Raza Khaqwani, Aijaz Sultan, Muhammad Ahsan, Gulrez Afzal, Khwaja Dawood, Sardar Muhiuddin Khosa, Taimoor Ali Laali, Sardar Shahab-ud-Din, Faisal Farooq, Aijaz Khan, Ghulam Ali and Asghar Khan.
Talking to the media after the meeting, Khwaja Dawood said that they have reached an agreement with Parvez link link and decided to back him. Tareen and Aleem Khan groups should also back Ch Parvez link and respect the party’s decision, he added.
The PML-N is considering two names for the election – Hamza Shehbaz and Malik Ahmad Khan. Most of the league members are in favour of Hamza Shehbaz
